Why Choose Us
Ukrainian Orthodoxy in the USA: The Path of Faith and Unity

Ukrainian Orthodoxy in the United States is not just a religion, it is a story of human resilience, spiritual depth, and the strength of community.
It was born with the first Ukrainian emigrants who left their native land in search of a better life at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Together with them, the Orthodox faith came to America - a quiet, deep, integral part of the Ukrainian soul.
In the new land, Ukrainians lost a lot - language, familiar environment, support from the state. But they did not lose their faith. In small houses, school halls, rented premises, the first Orthodox communities began to emerge.
People gathered for prayer, helped each other, built temples - from bricks, wood, and love.
Churches became places where the Ukrainian language was spoken, holidays were celebrated, children were baptized, and those who had passed away were said goodbye. The Orthodox parish in America became the center of all Ukrainian life - spiritual, cultural, and human.
Over the years, along with new waves of emigration, the network of parishes grew.
They became centers of hope for thousands of Ukrainians - a place where they could preserve themselves, unite, not get lost in the new world. The Orthodox faith helped preserve dignity, formed communities, supported families and gave peace of mind.
In Difficult Times - Together with Ukraine
In our time, as Ukraine once again endures tremendous trials, Ukrainian Orthodox parishes in the United States are not standing aside. They have become places of prayer, action, and solidarity.
-
We pray for peace and victory.
-
We collect aid for those affected.
-
We open our doors to newcomers.
-
We speak the truth to the world.
Our faith does not stay silent - it supports, inspires, and unites.
The Future - With God and with People
The future of Ukrainian Orthodoxy in America is not only about preserving tradition. It is about being present in real life, standing with people in their everyday joys and struggles. Our parish is already working to be a modern faith community - open, vibrant, and filled with love for God, Ukraine, and our neighbors.
We want everyone who steps through the doors of our church to feel at home. For children to learn love, for youth to grow in responsibility, for adults to find peace, and for the elderly to feel supported. We believe that the Church is not just walls - it is the hearts of people united in faith.
And as long as Ukrainian prayer resounds across American cities - living, true, and warm - Ukrainian Orthodoxy will live on, serve, and carry the light forward.
